OUR COMPANY

Lisbon Estates is a licensed real estate agency based in Lisbon, which provides tailor-made services that go the extra mile. It was created by two expat real estate professionals – Liliana Ferrarese (Brazil) and Jasper Veelenturf (Netherlands) – who are both passionate about real estate and Lisbon. We have international real estate experience and between us we speak six key languages (English, Portuguese, Dutch, German, Spanish, and French).

We combine our international experience, trustworthy reputation, in-depth knowledge of the Lisbon property market, strong relationships with other realtors and property owners, and a deep understanding of the needs of expats to help you get the best deal. This gives our customers the peace of mind and security they need to trust us to help them buy, rent, sell, lease, or invest in properties in Lisbon.

Jasper graduated in a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) at the NHTV University of Applied Sciences in International Real Estate & Facility Management.

After his graduation, he gained international working experience in the hospitality & tourism sector in the Netherlands, France and South Africa.

In 2014, Jasper moved to Rio de Janeiro to work in real estate as a project manager for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil and the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

This was followed by the opening of Riolize Golf in 2016: an inbound golf tour operator specialised in luxury golf travel experiences in Brazil.

In 2018, he started to manage 42 serviced apartments spread over 11 different locations throughout the city centre of Amsterdam, including revenue and reservations  management.

Jasper moved to Lisbon in 2019: the year of foundation of Lisbon Estates: a real estate agency that combines the experience of understanding the expats needs with the best opportunities in for investment or living in Lisbon.

Liliana is graduated in Hotel Management and for more than a decade worked as real estate and hotel development advisor in Brazil, South America, Ireland and Hungary.

Passionate for real estate, hospitality, services and people, in 2010 Liliana founded a pioneer start-up in Brazil of corporate housing, temporary accommodation and student housing. During 8 years, Liliana experienced a full cycle of a start-up, from the idea to the M&A with Oasis Collections and further as Brazil Director for Oasis. As an entrepreneur, Liliana proved Sampa Housing concept, attracted and negotiated seed investment, experienced accelerated growth, participated in both Endeavor Start-up Network program and Goldman Sachs 10,000 women, both in Brazil.

In 2018 Liliana moved to Lisbon with her family and worked for Tamea International, a boutique real estate agency in Lisbon, where Liliana gained knowledge of the local market, before starting her own business.

In 2019, Liliana co-founded Lisbon Estates, a real estate agency that combines the experience of understanding the expats needs with the best opportunities in for investment or living in Lisbon.

Styn is a driven, young professional who currently studies Commercial Economics at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.

In 2017 he went to Brazil for an exchange and after this experience of a year, he knew he wanted to travel more outside of the Netherlands. In 2021 he went to Portugal where he started to work at Lisbon Estates.

With his international experience in Brazil and Portugal, Styn has mastered several languages and different type of cultures which allows him to work with clients and property owners from a variety of backgrounds.

Styn is passionate about understanding the needs of expats and make sure they find the right place to call their home! At Lisbon Estates, Styn is responsible for property acquisition, both for rentals and sales - including developments.
